It was not used as a trash can, but was used to store small items. There is no box. The opening and closing lid (top) was destroyed by a visitor in the past, so it is now placed on top. It does not close completely. It was closed after being used for a while. It has been wiped down as much as possible. As it was left closed, there may be some dust that has not been removed in the gaps. There is discoloration in the inner grooves, dust that cannot be removed, scratches on the outside, and changes over time. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things. It was designed by Seiniger and Associates and is filled with pictures of characters throughout the movie. It measures 14″ by 11″ and is in good condition with some light wear to the spine.
